Tonight Mommy is in Norfolk for work and you took your first poop for us on the toilet.

Mom and I went to Ocean City, MD this past weekend and stayed in a pool front room at the Hilton on the ocean.  Travis and Rebecca came down from Philly and joined us.  Great weekend.  Had Pappy Van Winkle 23 for the first time at the Sunset Grille restaurant at a marina with a bunch of awesome boats outside.  Bartender didnt know what she was giving us a had a heavy pour after opening the new dusty bottle that had been sitting there for what appeared to be a long time.  Gave Travis and I roughly 3 oz each.  Then came back later after entering it in the register and said "now you savor that".  $40 each.


You got pig tails for the first time and appear to have grown 2 inches in the 3 days we were gone and now are entering your terrible two's. :)  You say "I dood it" all the time and are really becoming your own person.  We love you so much words cant express.

Today you played at the fridge saying "Go Hokies!" as you played with the VT magnets.

Started off ok but quickly deteriorated.  After Breakfast this morning we went up to get ready and there was frequent whining especially whenever Oscar took his Mickey Mouse toy (you refer to as "MINE").  Got you dressed in what I think is a super cute outfit but we'll see what mommy says if you make it through the day in it.  You didn't want shoes on and kept throwing a fit about those and then pulling them off as soon as I walked away.  I got pretty frustrated and had to stand in the stairwell for a min while you cried and whined and while I calmed myself down. 

Started feeding you again and that seemed to help but you wanted to take your plate with you in the car and I wasn't going to let you so you cried until we got half way to school.  Got there and you were in a good mood thought I was in the clear till I turned into your class room to realize neither of your regular teachers (Soryda or Chantelle) were there.

Went to leave and water works again so handed you off and ran out.  Stuck around for a min or so and you were still pretty upset but I didnt go back that would have only made things worse.

I love you kiddo but it sure isn't easy to be a Dad sometimes.

Mommy is out of town this week for work but you keep asking for her. :)  You also have what the Dr. said was a staff infection and are on an antibiotic along with a cream to get the bumps all over your legs and arms to go away.

This morning we had raisin bran cereal and you picked all the raisins out and then started eating the bran, sans spoon so by the time you were finished it was all over you so I had to strip you down at the table.

You were in a pretty good mood and did some drawing (scribbling circles) while I got ready.  I put you in a reversible dress, pink side out and you told me "pink" after it was on.

Took you to school and then applied the cream (in the interest of time).  Well you could tell I was leaving and I was still putting the cream away and you tried to grab my neck and I tried to hold you back which turned into you falling and hitting your head on the floor.  SO then I had to pick you up. :)

You didn't calm down cause you knew I was leaving so I handed you off to Chantelle (the daycare teacher) and left.  I took the cream over to the administrator to apply after lunch and came back to check on you.  You had calmed down some but were still doing a little winning.

Anyway I felt horrible about it all but I know you'll be fine.

Tonight mommy went out with Vanessa and after dinner we had ice cream. You licked the bowl and cried when it was all gone.

You just said Mallory for the first time.
